WTHI - The Terre Haute Children's Museum wants to elevate the experience it gives Wabash Valley kids. The children's museum is working on future development plans to upgrade its facilities. Those plans would include constructing an outdoor play area.

Tribune-Star - City Council candidates in contested races — specifically, the at-large candidates and those running to serve in District 1 — appeared in the League of Women Voters of Vigo County’s 2023 general election candidate forum Tuesday night at the Vigo County Public Library. Participating were Democratic District 1 candidate Kandace Hinton, Republican At-Large candidate Ray Agan and Democratic At-Large candidates George Azar, Tammy Boland and Curtis DeBaun IV. League of Women Voters Co-President Carly Schmitt served as moderator.

Tribune-Star - The east exterior wall of the Vigo County History Center — which displays the iconic Coca Cola mural — is deteriorating and needs extensive work, executive director Marla Flowers told the Vigo County Council Tuesday during its sunshine, non-voting session. She is requesting $50,000 from the county’s federal American Rescue Plan Act dollars to assist with the overall project, which will cost more than $300,000.

Inside INdiana Business - Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is utilizing a variety of different funding avenues to relocate the Rose-Hulman Ventures program closer to campus. Rose-Hulman Ventures will operate out of a new, 25,000 square-foot facility. Funding is expected to create 250 jobs and generate $2 million in private investment, according to a U.S. Department of Commerce news release.
